With our Thorsberghose Ragnar, we have replicated the style of pants fragments found in the Thorsberger Moor. At the site in the Thorsberg Moor, according to the current teachings, a temple of the god Donar / Thor was located in the settlement area of the Germanic tribe of the Angling. Most finds date from the 3rd and 4th centuries. The Thorsberghose is thus a piece of clothing clearly attributable to the Germanic habitat and thus a must for an authentic Germanic or Viking tapestry.

I haven't seen many reviews in English so I hope these guys catch on in America. I know MC features their products but, I only happened on this website doing a deep search for some quality clothing.
I have to date, 4 articles of clothing from Burgschnider. Ranging from under tunics, over tunics, pants and robes. These Ragnar pants are my most recent purchase and let me tell you... Quality. Simple, strong and made to last.
The sizes are a bit tricky. I got the large, and they are a great fit. They have belt loops and no opening in the front. I plan on altering that slightly. They are heavy cotton but very comfortable once you break them in. However, being that they are pretty much all Cotton they do loosen up shortly after you start wearing them. Meaning... If you have no @$$ at all like me, once they stretch they stay that way till you dry them again. Or wash them again. I have not noticed any shrinking in the traditional sense from washing them but, I have only ever washed them on cold. I have dried them for 30 min on normal heat and still no shrinkage. They just tighten up a bit out of the dryer. Long story short is, wear a belt.
Other than that... what a great buy! Classic slightly baggy 3 seam stitch up the back where it sits on you butt and, a comfortable waist band seam with a short rise front and back. Semi baggy legs good length and nice comfortable cuff seams around the ankles.
I really like them. Great job Burgschnider! I'm wearing them right now. Yeah that's right, I'm the guy that wears robes and tunics around the house and you know what? There mad comfy!!!
