The Cucullus Cowl is a staple of the Middle-Ages, worn primarily by farmers, commoners, and travelers. Made of a heavy wool felt material, designed to work in the rain as well as the sun.

Man, this hood is great. I wanted something that was going to both look great with my costume and also be functional, which is why I went with wool. It actually traps heat pretty well when you wear the hood up, which will be nice for the next renaissance festival this fall. (Posted on 10/22/2019)Rating
