- Came very quickly considering I'm across the planet from it's place of origin. I'm used to paying for shipping and then waiting months for garments half as good as this and it was a very pleasant surprise to get it so quickly, and for free, WOW.
- The material is very tough and I can tell it will last. The color is OUTSTANDING. It's even richer than the photo, I couldn't be happier on that front.
- The seam is placed in a historically accurate place at the back of the leg (Sort of to the inside, but that was also seen.)
The CONs:
- There is modern stitching visible, which may detract some hardcore reenactors, but for LARPers it shouldn't be a problem. (Hardcore reenactors can cover it up easily with a hand stitch.)
- My biggest complaint is that the ties that attach them to the Braies are held in place only with a single stitch. One of them came off immediately when I tried them on. I remedied this in about 5 minutes with some thread and reinforced all the others, but they should be at least double stitched in place. It's not a big problem but it's not a small one either.
These would have gotten 5 stars if not for the tie issue mentioned above. Overall I am very happy and will definitely be doing business with Burgschneider again. (Posted on 9/12/2019)
